When conducting LPR based experiments in the lab, users often want to tune the system to mimic the wall sheer stress observed by the pipeline in the field. This tool will calculate a rotation rate to achieve the desired sheer stress, in a laboratory setup.
For a given Rotating Ring-Disk electrode (RRDE), the collection efficiency is the fraction of the material from the disk which subsequently flows past the ring electrode. It is calculated empirically from dimensions of the disk, ring, and their separation.
