E4TQ Series ChangeDisk Rotating Disk Electrode
The E4TQ ChangeDisk rotating disk electrode (RDE) tip is related to the E3 series RDE tips, but instead of a fixed, permanently-mounted disk electrode, users can install and change the disk as desired. This electrode consists of three main parts: the body, the holder, and the disk contact pin. The disk contact threads into the Standard RDE shaft and makes backside contact with an installed disk electrode. The body screws onto the Standard RDE shaft to secure the holder in place. The holder is precision-machined from PTFE, and fits into the body with two O-rings. The holder accepts 5 mm OD disk inserts, from 4 mm thick to 1.5 mm thick. Users must also purchase the E4TQ Series ChangeDisk Toolkit for installing and removing disk inserts. This ChangeDisk RDE tip is compatible with the legacy CPR rotator shaft, and with current MSR family electrode rotators when using the Standard RDE shaft.
