E5TQ ChangeDisk RDE Tip PTFE

Part Number
AFE5TQ050

MAXIMUM ROTATION RATE: 2000 RPM — Never exceed maximum rotation rate when working with rotating electrodes.

This series of RDE tips may be used with the WaveVortex 10, MSR, and ASR electrode rotators.

The E5TQ Series ChangeDisk RDE design offers a unique interchangeable disk option that permits the same RDE tip with a PTFE shroud to be used repeatedly with different disk inserts.

See “Description” tab below for additional precautions and information.

E5TQ Series RDE tips feature removable disk inserts (sold separately).  Standard metal disk inserts offered by Pine Research are 5.0 mm OD x 4.0 mm thick and are fabricated from gold, platinum, or glassy carbon; however, disks may be made from other materials or dimensions upon request.  A toolkit (sold separately) and polishing kit (sold separately) are also required to change and polish the metal disk insert between experiments. Compatible shafts include AFE6MBAFE6M, and AFE5M for use with the MSR rotatorAFE6A and AFE5A for use with the ASR rotator, and AFE5F for non-rotating applications.  The E5TQ Series RDE tips are also compatible with the WaveVortex 10 Electrode Rotator.
