John's Biography:
John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Pine with 26 years as a Research Associate and Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Duke University, Durham, NC. While at Duke, he was responsible for system design, analog-, digital- and power-circuit development, FPGA design, printed circuit board layout, assembly, installation and maintenance of custom high-speed, phased-array ultrasound scanners in Duke Cardiac Diagnostic Unit.
As Owner/Operator of Castellucci Electronic Design and Layout, LLC, John focused on biomedical product design, including patent examination and analysis of FDA and other regulatory requirements. He also provided circuit design and printed circuit board layout for consumer and commercial products.
John earned his BSE, Biomedical/Electrical Engineering and MS in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, Durham, NC. He and his family reside in Durham, NC.
