John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Pine with 26 years as a Research Associate and Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Duke University, Durham, NC. While at Duke, he was responsible for system design, analog-, digital- and power-circuit development, FPGA design, printed circuit board layout, assembly, installation and maintenance of custom high-speed, phased-array ultrasound scanners in Duke Cardiac Diagnostic Unit. As Owner/Operator of Castellucci Electronic Design and Layout, LLC, John focused on biomedical product design, including patent examination and analysis of FDA and other regulatory requirements.
