    Fritted Isolation Tube

    Part Number
    RRPG097

This product is a fritted glass tube, intended to separate a probe or electrode from bulk solution. For example, the most common application of this tube would be to separate a standard reference electrode from solution. The reference electrode would be installed into the fritted tube, using the 14/20 end, and either filled with a miscible electrolyte solution or bulk solution itself. The reference electrode, and its chemistry, would then be diffusionally isolated from bulk as specied from the reference electrode would not reach bulk solution due to the frit. The frit is an Ace D frit (10 – 20 µm diameter pores). Be sure to purchase a 14/20 Adapter for 12 mm OD Body for this fritted tube, so it can easily interface into your electrochemical cell with a 14/20 port.
